A cheap and very cheerful everyday quaffer, this is an easy-drinking, smooth red with ripe brambly flavours and a hint of bay.

Will I like it?

A good red wine with heaps to say for itself, this has upfront red berry fruit with touches of mint and spice plus a lingering peppery finish. A great summer wine for roasted or barbecued meat.

From one of the world’s most important wine regions this lovely, smooth Bordeaux has great appeal and is sure to please, especially with food.

Bordeaux is a region that produces some of the world’s best classics – so it’s always IN, and this wine is no exception.

When to drink it?

A food wine, this needs to be drunk with meals such as steaks or chops. It is also good with cheese.
